  • Nannies Inc.

    Nannies, Inc. specializes in elder care and special needs care. They provide transportation; help with shopping needs, light housekeeping and laundry. Services range from occasional help, part time, weekends and overnights, to full time assistance.

  • Old Age Pension

    Old Age Pension is a social services program for individuals 60 years or older and includes income assistance and medical assistance for those individuals earning below an established need standard.

  • Senior "Ask A Lawyer Day"

    This is an opportunity for seniors to ask a lawyer their legal questions at this free session. Offered the third Tuesday of every other month at the Summit County Community & Senior Center. Sponsored by Colorado Legal Services and the Alpine Area Agency on Aging.

  • Senior Care Navigation

    Kirstie Taylor, MSW, LCSW, is available to provide resource and referral services for seniors in Summit County. She is available to meet with seniors in need and assist with accessing community resources and care services. She can provide an assessment to identify needs and provide referrals and support in coordinating services.

    If you are seeking information & referrals for resources or services in the community, please inquire at the Summit County Community & Senior Center. There is a wide array of resources available to assist you with aging in place, health care, and support services. We will be happy to help you locate the information that you need!

  • Silver Sneakers Classes at the Silverthorne Recreation Center

    SilverSneakers® Muscular Strength & Range of Motion
    Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion and activity for daily living skills. This class is designed for ages 65+, but all ages are welcome.

    SilverSneakers® Cardio Circuit
    Cardio Circuit is a more advanced class for participants who desire and are ready for a SilverSneakers® cardio workout. The format includes standing non-impact choreography designed to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance along with standing upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing and a ball. Come join the fun!

  • Summit County Community & Senior Center

    The Summit County Community & Seniors Center offers a variety of services and activities for Summit County Seniors. The goal of these services is to promote Seniors' well being - physically, socially, and mentally. The "Senior Center" is the main hub for Summit County Senior Citizens' indoor activities, outdoor activities, trips, excursions, games, and meals programs.

  • Summit County Senior Citizens, Inc.

    SCSC is a group of seniors age 55 and over, who enjoy organized activities and provide valuable volunteer services to the Summit County Community. In addition to hosting a wide variety of social activities, SCSC members participate in a broad range of community events as volunteers. Most of the social and athletic activiteis take place at the Summit County Community & Senior center in Frisco. However, many occur in locations throughout the county, especially hikes, bike rides and skiing. SCSC annual membership dues are $10 per person, per calendar year.
