  • Silver Sneakers Classes at the Silverthorne Recreation Center

    SilverSneakers® Muscular Strength & Range of Motion
    Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion and activity for daily living skills. This class is designed for ages 65+, but all ages are welcome.

    SilverSneakers® Cardio Circuit
    Cardio Circuit is a more advanced class for participants who desire and are ready for a SilverSneakers® cardio workout. The format includes standing non-impact choreography designed to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance along with standing upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing and a ball. Come join the fun!

    The Summit County Community & Seniors Center offers a variety of services and activities for Summit County Seniors. The goal of these services is to promote Seniors' well being - physically, socially, and mentally. The "Senior Center" is the main hub for Summit County Senior Citizens' indoor activities, outdoor activities, trips, excursions, games, and meals programs.

  • Summit County Senior Citizens, Inc.

    SCSC is a group of seniors age 55 and over, who enjoy organized activities and provide valuable volunteer services to the Summit County Community. In addition to hosting a wide variety of social activities, SCSC members participate in a broad range of community events as volunteers. Most of the social and athletic activiteis take place at the Summit County Community & Senior center in Frisco. However, many occur in locations throughout the county, especially hikes, bike rides and skiing. SCSC annual membership dues are $10 per person, per calendar year.
