Sammy Charytoniuk, MA, NCC and Mili Shoemaker, MA are experts in the field of Play Therapy supporting children ages 2 and up and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) supporting all ages. Soma Psychotherapy implements Synergetic Play Therapy™. This is a cutting edge approach that helps to re-pattern the brain by targeting the lower brain centers in the treatment of Trauma, Attachment Issues, Foster/Adoption, Aggression, ADHD, Autism/Asperger’s Continuum, Sensory Processing Disorder, Anxiety, Fears, Self-Esteem, Transitions, Depression, Grief and Loss and other states of dysregulation of the nervous system.
In using EMDR as a treatment modality, both Sammy and Mili are able to support individuals of all ages who have experienced disturbing life events. Little Red is a Montessori Based Preschool and Early Learning Center. As a school we are committed to the independence and uniqueness of the individual; therefore, our approach to education is based on/around the child’s needs and values. We believe that the early years are the most formative in child’s development and we strive to instill in each child that they are capable and competent.
As qualified and educated teachers we engage, observe and document the children to better understand and support their individual needs and design age appropriate experiences and lessons.
As a Community we strongly encourage and take part in volunteering and fund raising. We value the reciprocal relationships we form with our children and families as well as the relationships our children form with one another.
In essence, our goal, as teachers, community members and a school environment is to prepare the children for future experiences, and inspire, encourage, and facilitate lifelong learning.Contact Name:Little RedEmail:firstname.lastname@example.orgPhone:970-453-6871website:www.littleredbreck.comPhysical Address:600 Reiling Rd, Breckenridge CO 80424Mailing Address:PO Box 2740, Breckenridge CO 80424Hours of Operation:Monday thru' Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.Eligibility Requirements:We serve all families and understand that paying for childcare can be difficult and strenuous on any home budget. If your child is struggling with difficult behaviors and emotions, I am here to help. Play Therapy is a powerful way to help children grow and heal. Families can overcome incredible challenges and live healthy, well balanced lives. My approach allows children to make significant shifts in their behavior, self awareness, and ability to connect with others. I specialize in working with kids who have challenging behaviors, those experiencing difficult transitions such as adoption, divorce, or loss of a loved one, and those who have experienced significant trauma. I work closely with parents throughout our time together.
Play Therapy helps children to develop empathy, enhance thier ability to understand and communicate about feelings, and find healthy solutions to the challenges they face. Children increase their self-esteem as they develop greater self awareness and appropriate strategies to handle stressful situations that arise day to day.
I have dedicated years to understanding brain development. This specialized training gives me insight into understanding the root cause of behaviors. By getting to the bottom of the challenge, children are able to make long lasting positive changes in their behavior and relationships with family and friends.Contact Name:Anne WattsEmail:email@example.comPhone:(970) 485-5202website:www.wattslcsw.comPhysical Address:721 Granite St., Suite 204 Frisco, COHours of Operation:Monday - WednesdayTarget Group:Parents with children 0-13Accepted Payment:Sliding scaleOther:Contact Anne today for a free consultation.
