  • Animal Rescue of the Rockies

    Animal Rescue of the Rockies (ARR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit Colorado corporation. Organized in 2003 by a group of friends who wanted to provide an alternative to the county shelter, ARR has successfully provided foster homes and subsequent permanent homes to hundreds of dogs and cats to date.

    Because ARR doesn't have a shelter facility, they work exclusively with foster homes to give homeless pets the chance to socialize in a home environment. This gives them the advantage of transitioning to their new forever homes much more easily and quickly. ARR's organization is comprised entirely of volunteers.

  • Breckenridge Recreation Center

    The Breckenridge Recreation Center offers a variety of athletic and community activities. The facility features a gymnasium, indoor tennis courts, lap and leisure pools, a water slide, racquetball court, basketball courts, indoor rock-climbing walls, an indoor track, weight training and cardiovascular equipment, aerobic/dance studios, sauna, spas, a pro shop featuring merchandise, and a community meeting room and kitchen. Outdoor amenities include lighted softball fields, a soccer/rugby field, playgrounds, public restrooms, basketball courts, tennis courts, and a lighted skateboard park.

  • Child Find Program - Summit School District

    Child Find is a free developmental screening for children birth through 21 years of age. The screenings are free. There are no income restrictions/requirements. Screenings take 15-30 minutes. Parents are permitted to accompany their children throughout the screening. Screenings are conducted by professionals in the area?s of Vision/Hearing, Motor Skills (large and small muscles) and Speech/Language/Feeding.
